General Discription

 
The link consists of two devices, the transmitter INGT165B and the Receiver INGR165B to convert any parallel data word with up to 36 bits and a max 33 MHz (=148.5 Mbyte/s) to a serial data stream and back to the original parallel word.


Both, transmitter and receiver device establish a highly reliable data transfer with a low bit error rate (typ. <10-13), even at the maximum data rate and long distance, yet deterministic with lowest latency and fully transparent for the user. A highly efficient line coding reduces the overhead to only 10 percent thus 90 % of the bandwidth (= 1.188 Gbit/s payload data) is available for data transmission.
